Detect threats. Block affected clients.
We have developed an AI extension for a UniFi firewall. It detects unusual device behaviour, checks potential threats and automatically blocks affected network clients when threats are detected.
Focus on devices. Limit risks.
Detecting unusual behaviour
The AI support focuses on unusual behaviour of devices on the network. The aim is to identify potential threats early.
Checking potential threats
An anomaly is not automatically a confirmed attack. Potential threats are checked before the corresponding protective action is triggered.
Blocking affected clients
When threats are detected, affected network clients are automatically blocked. This action applies to devices or clients, not user accounts.
Limiting possible damage
The protective measures aim to limit risks and potential spread through the network. They are not a promise of complete security against every attack.
Good to know
Is this a standard UniFi feature?
No. The AI support presented here is our own extension for a UniFi firewall, not an AI feature provided by UniFi as standard.
Are user accounts blocked?
No. The protective action described here targets affected devices or network clients, not user accounts.
Can the solution protect every network?
We cannot promise universal suitability or complete security. Requirements and the appropriate scope need to be assessed for each network.
